Trauma-informed Energy Work — A compassionate container is offered for you to process and release what no longer serves you. The environment is structured to help you feel grounded and experience relief.
Reiki is a Japanese energy medicine technique that utilizes universal life energy (or qi/chi/prana) to promote healing and wellness. There is clinical research supporting the efficacy of Reiki and it is increasingly used in hospitals in conjunction with other therapies. Reiki can promote physical healing, but it is especially powerful with addressing emotional pain and energy blocks.
Whether you’re looking to alleviate tension/pain, relax, rehabilitate after an injury, or experience mental/emotional relief from life challenges, energy work can facilitate your body’s own innate healing process.
Energy work sessions draw from the following lineages:
(Mikao) Usui, Usui Holy II Levels 1 and 2, Usui Holy Fire II Reiki Master, Usui Holy Fire III Reiki Master through the International Center for Reiki Training.
Energy work concepts used in Craniosacral Therapy as taught by the Upledger Institute, which includes unwinding the meridians and core energy centers of the body.

Reiki — In a standard treatment, Reiki energy flows from the practitioner’s hands into the client, via light touch or with hands just over the client’s body. In-person client sessions usually entail having the client laying fully clothed on a massage table, (although treatments can also be given while the client is seated or even standing). Chakra balancing is included in all sessions. The whole treatment usually lasts between 45 and 90 minutes. Longer sessions allow for breathwork/pranayama, somatic dialogue/processing, guided meditation, and time for reintegration post-session.
Crystal Healing — Crystal Healing sessions are offered in conjunction with Reiki. Every crystal is charged with Reiki prior to being placed on or adjacent to your body. Specific crystals will be used to address the concerns you raise during the consultation process. Pricing for Crystal Healing costs just an extra $15 to be added with to 60-minute or longer in-person Reiki sessions.
Distance Reiki — A distance healing session is initiated through the use of the distant Reiki symbol and amplified by visualization and intention, as well as by holding a photo to focus on sending Reiki energy to a person that is not physically present. It is ideal if the receiver lies down and stays still, if possible. We will meet via livestream and after intake (which includes grounding, intention-setting, and breathwork), videos will be turned off until the end of the Reiki treatment. We will then reconvene for reflection, processing, and reintegration. Guided meditation is included in longer sessions (75 minutes or more).
